Twelve years old and always four minutes older than she'll let Gino forget. Ginny is the planner of the family — organized, quick-thinking, and never happier than when she's elbow-deep in helping an animal heal. She keeps her curly hair pulled back in a ponytail and a hair tie on her wrist at all times, just in case.
Ginny's twin brother, by four minutes less. Gino is the first one to rush in without thinking it through, and he wears his scrapes and bruises like badges of honor. Curious, competitive, and fiercely loyal to his family, his sister, and every animal at the sanctuary.
Ginny and Gino's best friend and neighbor, and rarely seen without a camera around his neck. Quiet and observant, Victor notices things other people miss — which comes in handy more often than anyone expects at Ridgewood Wildlife Sanctuary.
